Pic 3Once the kids were up we packed up our sleeping stuff and headed to the camp kitchen. Here we had breakfast and then prepared todays lunch.

Pic 4Afterwards, we left for William Creek via the Oodnadatta track. Its completely flat on the way to William Creek.

On our way we spotted a lizard sunning itself in the tree .

Did you know that William Creek is the biggest cattle station in the world?

Pic 6 Pic 7We then decided to check out Lake Eyre.. and it was a 60km drive to Halligan Bay. Once there we walked onto the lake and decided to have some fun pictures taken.

We had lunch there and decided that we weren’t going to camp for the night there. Instead we decided to head off to Coward Springs..

Pic 11Coward Springs is an amazing place, the best camp site so far. We found our camp site, the kids had a play in the tree and then it was off to see some historical sites and the kids jumped in the artision bore pool..
